Measured Survey

A measured survey is an essential first step in preparing accurate architectural drawings for your project. This involves a detailed on-site measurement of the existing property, including all relevant internal and external features. For a typical Victorian terraced house, we offer fixed fees based on the scope of the proposed works. The fee for a single-storey rear extension is typically £650, a double-storey extension is £750, and a loft conversion is £750. If multiple elements are being combined in one survey, a reduced combined fee can be provided. The survey usually takes between 2–4 hours on site, and the information gathered forms the basis for accurate existing floor plans, elevations, and sections used throughout the design and planning process. All fees are exclusive of VAT.
